Confession:
When at home alone (i.e. frequently) I:
(a) usually cut up my spaghetti (& fettucini & linguine) with a knife before eating it to make it easier to pick up with the fork; and
(b) often hold my wine glass by the 'bowl' of the glass instead of the stem smothing it in warmth and grubby finger marks.
Yes, at home I fail the sophistication and foodie tests repeatedly.
My napoli sauce with chilli does rock though.
I also like to hold the wine glass by the bowl (only for red wine) so that I can warm the wine a little. If eating meat and 3 veg I quite often cut the meat up small so that I can eat one-handed and read or internet at the same time.
I don't go out much...

When at home, I could eat using one hand because I'm not fond of using fork. I guess it's a bad habit of mine.

Oh...am I supposed to hold the glass by the stem? Fail.
My husband was given some Reidel stemless Shiraz glasses as a farewell from work recently. LOVE them. Can't explain why, just do.
